Akshay and Rani’s San Francisco South Indian wedding was full of fun, colorful details with lots of traditional touches. Rani wore a traditional green sari and flowers in her long braid, and was carried into the ceremony site on a palanquin. Meanwhile, Akshay rode into the ceremony on a horse, and partook in traditional rites like sprinkling rice and colorful thermocol balls over Rani’s head. Their reception featured sparkling decor, and an option to make a small donation to a charity of each guests’ choice in lieu of a parting gift.
